Profile
Great projects are the result of a deep collaboration resulting from a shared vision of success, managed expectations, and hard work. Over the years I have worked closely with design teams to create design processes that reflect the uniqueness of each project and the stakeholders involved. Often overlooked, the Process is just as important as the end product as it creates the context and road map for the Journey.

Experience
UC San Diego– Facilities Design & Construction
La Jolla, CA [2008-Current]
Program Manager
I joined UC San Diego’s Facilities Design & Construction in 2008 as a Principal Architect and over the next seven years focused solely on the Jacobs Medical Center Expansion, which represented approximately half of the University’s Capital Program at the time. I now lead the Professional Practice Program within the department, focusing on the implementation of standards and processes that enhance the delivery of our Capital Projects.

NTD Architecture San Diego, CA [2007-2008]
Director of Operations – Healthcare Practice Group
Responsibilities included contract review and preparation, the development and implementation of process related standards, mentoring of Studio Directors and Project Managers, monitoring of project budgets, overall practice group staffing, and ongoing monitoring of revenue projections.

HMC Architects San Diego, CA [2004-2007]
Associate Principal – Healthcare Studio Leader
Responsibilities included leading the healthcare practice in the San Diego office, which involved business development, staff mentorship, and project management/principal level leadership of all local healthcare projects. Additional responsibilities included office level leadership of the education and healthcare project managers.
